Car Stereos???

Question

does it matter what kind of car you have to buy any kind of stereo. i want to look into stereos for my friends car, his bday is coming up. and wanted to know if it matters the model of the car. please help. thanks

no, you dont have to worry about the model of his car (yet).  99% of all aftermarket stereos are the same size.  Different cars might require different mounting kits though.  look at the size of his current stereo and the ones at like wal mart (dont buy anything there though lol) If it is the same size then he probably wont need a mounting kit. If its different then look at wal mart next to the stereos for mounting kits. They are cheap and go by car brands and years.  Its really not complicated.  >>Any stereo + proper mounting kit (if needed)
