I bought a Hyundai Elantra 2007 16 months ago. I drive alot back and forth to Upstate New York and I have 26,400 miles on my car. It's a NEW car. It had 4 miles on it when I bought it. I've had all my oil changes, tire rotations, etc. I drove to New York this weekend and when I got home I turned the car off and went into my home. The next morning I tried to start my car and it was like the battery was dead. I had a hot shot. It started. I was on my way to work. The Check Engine Light came on so I took it to the dealership service station. They said that it was the "Purge Valve" and they replaced it. When they gave me my car, I decided to turn the car off and when I tried to start it, it wouldn't start then finally after three times it did. They didn't look at it right away they made me leave and said we'll get to it sometime today. I left my car and when i called them they said they had to order a "Fuel Pump" it would take two days to get it and put it in. So I am without a car until Thursday night. Then they said under the Warranty I can't get a rental car. Is this true? I think I have a lemon. Should all of this be happening after only 26,000 miles and it's a year old?

  1. Dang. I have a 2006 Toyota Camry and I had that knida problem.

I don't use it on freeway much, though.

It happened when my car has 12,000 miles.

Never ever go into the dealership to fix it.

Unless it's the closest auto stop nearby.

    It cost more money.

And they'll say a bunch of excuses that makes your car stays overnight and charge you more.

  2. Read your warranty. Check to see anything about rentals........

  3. They should definately give you a rental car. Demand to speak to someone higher up in the company.

  4. No this shouldn't be happening. if your warranty doesn't state that you have rental car coverage, then they don't have to give you one.  Doesn't sound like a lemon but, you should surf the lemon law in your state to find out what the criteria is.

  5. Hi,

When you adapt your ride to run on water as complimentary fuel  you just set yourself to save on gas prices  - and help with greenhouse effect.

There is convertion ready to install kits on the net but Regrettably they provide shoddy websites.

I own a 2003 Chevy Silverado and I get 41 mpg. I suggest you visit
