I live in California.I was in a car accident in late April and I was taken to the ER. So, I was basically out of it for two weeks and wasn't able to do everyday things. My insurance agent was taking care of everything so I assumed that they took care of reporting the accident since I was unable to do so at the time. I got a letter from the DMV stating that I've never reported the accident and that my driver's license can get suspended and I have TWO days to return the letter all the way back to Sacramento, but I live in SoCal so that can take DAYS. The letter was mailed out on the 12th but I just got it around 2 days ago and I am having problems contacting my insurance company. What can I do? It says that my insurance company has to sign a part on the form but they are unable to and I can't reach them. Help?
