  1. tell the police the drivers liscense plate number that might help but then again he could of stole that car....Sorry that this happened to you

  2. Have the plates ran find out the owner and then go to the police and file hit and run charges.  Most insurance companiesa will do this for you.  Good luck

  3. If you got the tag # and gave it to police, get the police report and give that to your insurance rep.

You will probably have to pay the damages yourself since your coverage doesn't cover it...........That's the risk you agreed to when you bought the cheaper policy. It's now coming home.....

You will only have the satisfaction of knowing the person left the scene of an accident, and that is illegal. He/she will get fined.

  4. if you have the plates have the cops track him down...although its probably not going to do you a lot of good.  if he left and gave you the wrong info that usually means he has no insurance.  so you are going to end up paying for this yourself.  its unfair, but that's life.  if you find him you could take him to small claims court where you will spend your money doing so and still most likely never see any of it back.  be grateful its only $450 in damage.
