Today I backed out of a parking spot into a car. My car's back bumper is damaged but her rear bumper, rear lamp, quarter panel, real door, and rear wheel alloy got damaged (barely!). She got my drivers # and my name and my liscense plate number. I have her name address and phone number. We went to a place to see how much it would end up costing and it ended up being about $1100-1200 because she wanted to go to a dealership. Should I pay for it or would it be better to report everything (nothing has been reported at this point) or just run away lol or what??? I'm 18 so our insurance would go up alot if it was reported and I just don't know what to do. Can she prove that I was the one that hit her. How does this work? She did have a passenger in the car with her. What should I do in this situation. I live in Georgia.

  1. Report it unless you want to pay that out of pocket.

  2. report it. let your insurance company pay it......

  3. Report it to your insurance company.  Otherwise, you'd have to shoulder the entire amount out of your pocket.  I think she can choose on where she wants it repaired because she was the victim in this case.
