  1. have someone drive you.

  2. its normal to have those fears since the accidents happened that close together.

Your easiest way to overcome it will be get back into the car - as painful and hard as it may seem...and drive again.  The longer you put it off the harder and more difficult its going to be to drive again.

Give it a shot...tomorrow go out and drive - if you cry...burst into tears...thats OK if you do no more than back the car out of the driveway and pull it back in.  Just drive around the block - or up the street turn aruond and back.  you have to make youself do it.....

  3. You should see a psychologist.

  4. No matter what you are afraid of, the more you hold these fears in your mind -- getting into another car accident, getting hurt while driving, hurting someone else while driving -- the more you will attract them into your life, and the harder it will be for you to get behind the wheel.

First off, allow yourself to let go of wanting to force yourself to forget or overcome what happened. Allow yourself instead to be gentle with yourself and explore how you feel about what happened and keep letting go.

It is also helpful to let go of trying to figure out what you did wrong or how you could have avoided the accident. This simply forces you to hold onto the trauma and blame yourself for what happened. The more you let go, the more you will free yourself of the images and feelings in your mind and body from the past. Then simply start small with short trips and keep releasing.

As you do this, you will find that the fear you associate with driving disappears, and you’re able to regain control of your life.

If you open to welcoming, and then letting go of, whatever you are carrying within you based on the accident, then you can quickly and easily let it go. Then you can move on, and feel safe and secure in yourself and your driving ability.
