  1. The belongs to your mother so she will get sued for your actions in the car.  It might be easy to get insurance with the car in moms name but her name is still on the car so she could be added to a lawsuit still.

Not only the passengers in your car can sue your mom but any person who is involve in the accident can.

  2. It is in your mothers name so yes, she can and will get sued for anything that you do.

As stated above about the insurance, many people just have minimum liability coverage and if it goes over that they will then go after your mother.

  3. They sure can sue your mom but if you have insurance thats what the insurance is for protection

  4. It depends on what state you live in and the circumstances of the incident/accident.

But most likely the answer is yes.  These days anybody can sue anyone for anything,  especially the operator of a motor vehicle if at fault.

  5. If you are a minor, your parents are financially responsible for your actions regardless of who's name is on the title or registration of the car who's name the insurance is in.
