  1. This is what you need to know:

If you amp is not 1 OHM stable or less than that, I would highly recommed against wiring them down. That will not work with your amp since it is not 1 OHM stable.

  2. Well if you want to you can wire the subs down to 2 ohms. two 4 ohm subwoofers connected on one channel make a 2 ohm load. Paralleling the subs wouldn't work, just bridge them on the channels and wire them down to 2 ohms and you'll be set.

a 4 ohm subwoofer can't be wired to 1 ohm. it goes 4 ohms, 2 ohms, 1.3 ohms and so on. 2 ohm subwoofers go from 2 ohms, 1 ohm, .5 ohm I do believe.

  3. See your answer here.

  4. No. If you wire them in parallel the amp will see 1 ohm and will probably go into protection if it has it, if not it will blow a fuse or worse.

If you wire them in series you could potentially have a 16 ohm load which will make the amp put out hardly any power.

Best bet would be to either use one sub, wired parallel to show a 2 ohm load.  Or to purchase another amp and one run sub off of each amp.

Is the amp a mono or 2 channell amp?  Is it 2 ohm mono stable?
