is a 1400 watt amp enough for 2 12s that are 3000 watt max power each???

also any cheaper alternatives to dynamat

Ignore MAX or PEAK power. These mean nothing in car audio except that that's what the amp will push for a split second. Since you listen for more than a split second, this make useless numbers.

if the specs are right than you might wanna hook it up to one sub instead of both and get another one for the other sub
