Car amplifier question?

im buyin an amp that is 4 channels and it says bridged rms powerinto 4 ohms 300 watts x 2 channels so if my sub is 2 ohms and i bridge the 2 channels will i get about 600 watts

  1. get a new amp either mono or two channel for a sub 4 channels are meant for highs and most likely won't put out the wanted power without hurting the amp.


  2. only if your amp is stable @ 2 ohms while its bridged and if its not and you hook it up your amp will more than likely go into protection so I would look into a different amp for your sub. something that is 2 ohm stable like a monoblock
