Car audio and speakers?

Question

Im bout to get a new car! and i was looking to put some good tens(speakers) in my car but i dont really know that much on car audio.. like other accesories i would need for them to sound good.. and if you know anyother good websites that sell some pretty good speakers or a good place to go buy some anyhelps appreciated! thanks!

Well if your going to go with tens I would suggest avoiding Kicker, MTX or Xplod. Instead you might want to look into infinity, polk audio, kenwood, or Rockford Fosgate. Those brands make better tens than they do twelves and I think the sound is much better and noticeable from the other 3 brands. Just get a good sized amp, 600-1000 watts and you should be able to get a pretty good mid/bass pump out of them.

Crutchfield is a great place to research on car audio- they have the products, customer ratings, and all sorts of research info.  You can get car speakers at places like Best Buy or circuit city, or if your daring, you can browse around Amazon.com to see if you can save money.  Just make sure you don't buy used.  The best way to make sure they sound good is to try them out in the store with your favorite music and pick whatever speakers sound good to you, because everyone has different taste.

well to make it sound good you need a good deck first that will allow you to make all the settings right.. then you need your speakers .. like you said .. then it would even sound better with an amp.. and to install it all you need to buy a system kit this will include all the wires and clips youll need to install it
