I have 3 fosgate P3's (500RMS, 1000 peak)- 2 powered by a RF P600.1bd @ 2ohms, 1 powered by a P550.2 bridged @ 4ohm

i drive a 96 del sol and have a 1 farad stiffening cap. what i am wondering is if i need a bigger cap. I've heard you should use 1 farad for every 1000 watts. Anyone out there know from experience?

the cap is the ONLY thing i need to know about. thank you!

  1. your definitely going to need a bigger cap you have just over 100 watts around 1200 watts coming from your amps. and your using all of that power with those punch subs. you stressing your amp by like 2000 watts so yea you should move up to a 1.2 farad with is basically 1200watts power converter. all caps are over 100watts.
