  1. you may have a bad connection somewhere or just need to put in a crossover also amp may be giving it power when it shouldnt

  2. your cables are picking up noise frequency threw the engine or the head unit. sending power to the amp and its just burps really loud until the car is complete off or until the headunit is completely off with most headunits theres a delay in when it turns off and when the car is off or is sending no power.

most of these frequencies are picked up by the RCA's. i think you need to replace the RCA cords with better ones. i recommend monster cables.

i had some cheap wires hooked up to 2 15's before and i was experiencing the same problem you were. as soon as i replace the RCA's with some good ones the sound went away and it sound alot cleaner then before with no interruption

  3. Are you using a line-out converter with a factory radio?

If so, try turning down the output on the LOC.

  4. Check your connections. Basically your getting voltage after the remote wire is turned off. Check it with a volt meter and a friend, on dc volts. Basically not voltage = no sound.

Depending on what kind of amp or head unit it could be a problem there if it's a cheap unit. If there is a problem with the switch consider a interrupt in-line switch. Yet do not power the remote directly to 12v supply as your car would burn to the ground.
