I will soon be getting a civic or a mazda3. I want to get a decent stereo system with good bass, clear sound. What/where are the best ways to get good package deals on an audio system where I do not have to spend lots but can really customize my car?

  1. It's kind of a tricky call. I've seen custom shops cut deals on labor, but I've seen big box stores cut deals on product. Your best bet would be to shop around your local car audio providers.

  2. Forget what the guy above me said. Try this company, http://www.edesignaudio.com/index.php

Give them a call, chances are is that you will talk to a guy named Alex. He is a great guy, tell him what your looking to build and let him know that you looking for a package deal. They also have a package builder on their web site, for instance: 2 13Ov.2 subs, 2 sets of e3.65i (6.5" component sets) 1 Nine.1 (1200 watt rms amp), and 1 Nine.4 65 watts rms X 4 channels @ 4 OHM; package price is $918. You get free ground shipping, and a 5 year warranty on each piece of equipment.

Really all you have to do is look on the internet. If any of you local shops will at least match the prices on the net, then get it from the local shops, if not order it from the net. Look into www.woofersetc.com, and www.onlinecarstereo.com. Oh, and www.audiodiscounters.com as well.
