Car blind spots?

say your drivers seats on the right is the blind spot bigger on the right or the left? in my book it shows the right side bein bigger...whys this?

This is because if your seat is on the right, you have to turn your head more sharply to see your blind spot which is further back rather than being able to see your left blind spot by just looking a little to your left. Does this make sense? Because the left side is further from you, you get a larger point of view and can see more.
