Car cd player question?

alright nobody probably even cares but i just bought a new cd player and installed it i am fairly competent in this area but i listen to am radio on my commute from work to hear talk radio but this new player doesnt pick up am hardley at all it is a pioneer fm comes in great but am just sucks i want to keep this unit but could use any suggestions or hints thanks

uuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmm   maybe tune down the vocal pitches ooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr hey i got it,,,try XM SATELLITE RADIO if u just bought it im sure it has a  satellite radio feature of either sirrius or xm over 100+ stations,,always clear,,dosent dissappoint you,,whatever u want its there    WITHOUT COMMERCIALS,,,,,,,,,,
