do u know any good one in this area? and do u think it's better to get a used car from a dealership or from an owner like those who post on craigslist? thank you.

Trade-ins at new car dealerships are better than corner used car lots and a private owner probably won't offer you a warrantee if the manufacturers warrantee is expired, but expect to pay less to a private seller for that very reason.
