I am car shopping for a specific type of car and i noticed in one of the ads a car dealership is advertising no credit checks, and that everyone gets approved and no one gets turned down or they will pay you 1000 cash. So i thought it was to good to be true. I called them and they said all i need to bring is two pay stubs and license and a utility bill thats in my name or someone else but the same address and thats it....I'm just wondering what other questions should i be asking to determine if this is a scam or not before i waste my time and go down there. I just never heard of a car dealership offering no credit checks. And advice??

  1. Just like Jay said. It's a Buy Here Pay Here dealership. Just Stay as far away from them as humanly possible!

  2. Ive heard this many of times but never went to go see what its all about. it sounds to good to be true the only thing I can think of is that the interest rate on it is going to be out of this world.

  3. If they are advertising "no credit checks - everyone gets approved", then beware! Why do lenders use credit reports? To determine a borrower's payment history and assess their ability to repay the loan. If they aren't checking credit, then they are assuming a much higher risk. That additional risk will be somewhat mitigated by higher prices and higher interest rates.

  4. Probably a buy here pay here lot but it could be a legit dealer with a promotion.  No credit check needed if you're paying cash, right?  And with enough down payment they can get ANYBODY financed.  10K car, yeah, put like 8K down, "we'll get anybody approved"

    For What It's Worth.....

  5. AVOID

    the APR will be outrageous

  6. This would be a buy here pay here dealership.  Stay away.
