Car door wont open?????

Ok, ive got a new car, well new to me, it's a little old peugeot 205, my little banger =]] haha.

But the passenger door wont open from the inside. Any ideas why?

when you open the door from the outside have a look on the inside of the door around the edges near the inside rubbers and check to see if there is a child safety lock if there is switch it off.

If there is no child safety lock the locking arm inside the door may be broken or come off hope this helps

Sounds like the linkage is disconnected from the latch mechanism or it is jammed.  You need to remove the inner door panel to get access to it.
