Car engine simulation....

Question

I like to experiement with car engines but i don't have any at the moment so i was wondering if there are any simulation games/sytems for creating a car engine and then testing it out?

Me, I'm a big fan of Live for Speed, www.lfs.net. That's fantastic for all aspects of the car, the only thing you can't change is the engine though unfortuantly!

But they should make something like that.
