it usually takes around 20-30 minutes to fall asleep or less,once you go to sleep its just about all over with,i don't suggest you try this, i had has problems just from running a car in a garage while working on it,the first thing you get is a head -ache,then you get sleepy,it will kill you,and its not  a pleasant way to go,don't try it,always vent the garage very well if you have to run the engine inside of it,good luck.
