Car factory stereo problem?

I took out my aftermarket stereo in my 05 impala, and put the factory stereo back in. But the light on the stereo wont work. The radio works fine, but you cant see the stations you are changing it too, e.t.c. Did i hook it up wrong? Factory stereo should just be the main harnace the antenna. Am i missing something?

it wouldn't be the dimmer switch bc you would still be able to see a tiny bit but it would be very dim. my stock did that too and it happened to be is it went bad the leds did. sucks i know.

Have you checked the dimmer switch? ussually next to the headlight switch.
