Car following you...?

Ok my friend in Colorado was trying to get into this other lane and this guy would not let him through. So my friend gently edged the way into the lane and slowed down to p**s off the other driver and it worked. My friend flicked him off and the car started to tailgate. The car was following my friend everywhere. When they got to a circle the car tried to block my friend in and my friend speed off. My friend thought it as a game and my friend thought it was fun and exciting. But my friend lost him. What would happen if my friend slammed on the brakes and the guy rear ended my friend what would happen? Would my friend get the ticket? What advice would you say to my friend?

  1. your friend is stupid and so are you if you ride with him again

  2. In So California, He'd probably be shot.  If this act was witnessed by an officer, it would not be a traffic collision.  It would be ruled as an intentional act, and, if the officer felt it was severe enough, your "friend" (no I am not suggesting it was really you) could be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

It pisses everyone off when they are being tailgated, but if you slam on your breaks hard enough to cause a collision, it is no accident.  It is serious.

Plus the whole incident was your "friend's" fault to begin with.

It is all fun and games until you do it to the wrong person.

  3. that person following you would but you did made him mad

the dude with get 65% of the blame and you with get 35%

  4. There's nothing "fun" or "exciting" about road-rage. A lot of people get killed behind that stupidity. Next time, you guys really need to stop.

To answer your question, the man who rear-ended your friend would technically be at fault. However, that doesn't make your attempts to aggrivate him correct. That's very dangerous.

  5. in general the guy rearending someone is always at fault but he was already pissed off at your friend a stunt like that could easily get your friend shot, won't much matter who gets the ticket then

  6. your friend is lucky he did not get shot.  you dont know who you are f&%$#*g with sometimes
