Question:

Car for my dog!?

Ok well really the car is for me but I am trying to do this with consideration of my dog. Basically for years I wanted to get a coupe (drive a small sedan now-and the coupe in mention is a nissan altima) and low and behold I can finally afford one, problem is I have a 65 lbs dog. So now I am stuck between getting a small crossover for the dog convenience but having to deal with a slightly higher cost of the car and the gas or the coupe but sacrifycing the ability of my dog to happily sniff the air out of the window.....anyone have any suggestions?

  1. Go with a Hybrid SUV then you get the best of both worlds....Good gas mileage, and plenty of room for old yeller to let his tonque hang in the breeze. :-)

  2. Buy the car that makes more sense to you! Would you rather have a dog in the passenger seat or the person of your dreams? Besides a dog is not just going to stay in the passenger seat. It is going to try to move while the car is going, so it may even try to get in the driver's lap. This can be dangerous, and you could end up with a recked car and/or a dead dog. If a dog was riding in my car it would stay in a pet taxi or a seat made special for carrying animals.
