Car inspection and title question ... in NY state?

hi i got the car from auction and it was accidental so i have to fix things up and get the inspection done and it was passed on june 30th..... in how many days should i be getting my title?

NY is a big state with lots of owners of cars.  I would expect that the title will be mailed to you in about a month or month and a half.

By the way the questions was asked, I am guessing you bought a wrecked or damaged vehicle with a MV907a salvage certificate were you must have the car safety inspected after it is repaired, and cannot register until you receive the title.  If you completely passed the salvage examination on 6/30, you should be getting your title next week.  They say 10-15 business days, but it might be a little longer with the July 4 holiday just passing.
