Car insurance No Claims Bonus?

Hi i am really confused about my car insurance i have been driving for over 2 years and have been with the same insurance company swinton but i have had times where my cars have broken down so i have to change them on my policy does this affect me getting no claims bonus or do i have to keep the same car for a whole year to get the no claims bonus. thanks

Changing your car will not affect your NCB.

Changing car should not affect your no claims bonus provided you have never claimed for any of the vehicles. So if you have had two years clear of driving and made no claim other than for windscreen replacement (this does not usually affect your bonus) then you should have earned two years no claims bonus.

If you have claimed but  it was a non fault accident and the costs were recovered from the other partys insurance company your no claims bonus wont be affected either.

i think.....you can get it once you move......i dont think you have to wait!call the new company and ask...
