  1. Be honest,It is gonna take some time to find the answer for your question.Try to have a look the resource here for reference.http://car-insurance.easyideas4u.info/ca...

  2. tempcover.com offer short term policies for up to 28 days for drivers aged 21-69 as do norwichunion.com/short-term-insurarance/... Cant find one that does it for 18 year olds though, best bet is to insure for a year (maybe pay by dd) & cancel it when u go to uni or reduce cover to tpf&t.

  3. I dont think that insurers allow customers to take out insurance for months, it is almost always yearly.

  4. Try Insurance Depot. They put on the insurance card that you have a premium for 6 months however, unlike other insurances, when you stop paying they just stop your coverage. They don't ask for the remainder amount and you can always sign back up later. and all they need is your first months amount to start your coverage.

Go to www.insurancedepot.com to get the phone number.

  5. if you have to take a years insurance ask for it to be suspended whilst your not using the car thay way (depending on the company) you could have your payments stipped while your away at uni and then ask them to reinstate it when your home so you dont have to get quotes all over again
