Is an international driver's license OK or do they ask absolutely for the US driver's license?

  1. That should work but if you intend to become a resident, the insurance company will insist to see your new US state license (You Usually have 30 days to obtain one)  They will also need to see registration info. or a rental car agreement, if it is a rental


  2. They will want to see the registration papers for the vehicle and your driver's license. ( YES - an International Driver's License is ok ).
