Can you have multiple drivers on a single vehicle, if one of the drivers lives in a different household?

  1. In the USA, Anyone with an insured vehicle who gives another driver with a valid license, permission to drive their car is covered.


  2. yes you can.  one person will be named as the primary driver and the others as occasional drivers.  if one of your drivers does not live in your household, they do not need to be listed on your policy to be covered UNLESS they use the car on a regular basis.  if they just drive it once in awhile with your permission, they would be covered.
