Car kinda trembles and lights dim at idle?

Question

Hello when im at a stop and in drive my rpms will go up and down a little and so will my battery voltage. the battery is new and the charge is past half way on the guage. so when the rpms and battery drop my lights dim but the car Doesnt die. the rpms drop only by 100 or so? what could be wrong? its a 94 camaro LT1 5.7L

This sounds like your IAC ( Idle Air Control ) is causing the up and down rpms. As for the low idle, clean the inside or throat of the throttle-body and this should bring the idle back up. You can use a rag and some brake wash to remove the black build up.

its idling to low ... need a tune up buddy. Cheap fix and you will be fine.. nice car! had an Iroc.

clean the iat and the maf ---both at the throttle body. etc.
