Car makes strange noise when turning?

when i turn one way it goes thump thump thump. when i turn the other way it sounds like somethings rubbing. i looked at my car today and on the drivers side it sits lower then the passenger side please help i dont want to get screwed by a mechanic and i dont want to be stranded on the side of the road.

  1. Check closely and compare one side to the other.   It is possible that you have had a shock or strut come loose or something similar.    Look at the tires from the front to make sure they both stand up straight and point the same direction.    Bad bushings may also be the culprit.    

    If dealing with a mechanic scares you,   take it to several shops for a diagnosis and estimate before allowing it to be worked on.   See what the consensus is,  and go with the mechanic that seems most honest and fair.


  2. You have either bad CV joints and or bad axle assemblies.................

  3. You either have a broken shock or a tire getting ready to pop.  I'd go with the broken shock first and foremost. Get it checked for that.

  4. Could be ball joints or tie rods

  5. go to the carpool and get it fixed

  6. looks like the suspension has gone going to be costly take your car to a reputable garage for repairs don't drive until you have it repaired.
