I like both.  I do love a good road trip.  If i can travel somewhere within an 8 or 10 hour drive I'd much rather drive. It's also a bit better for the environment that way.  I don't remember the EXACT stat but something like each plane that takes off (just on take off) burns the same amount of fuel (or releases the same amount of emissions) as your car does in 10 years.

however, I do love flying.  Going through the airport. bording the plane, wandering the concourse for a couple hours before.  It's so much fun to me

Depends on the distance...

I prefer cars... not a fan of planes, but if i must i will take a plane.
