Ive already asked these companies for extensions...they cannot help me further. I dont even have moneyfor groceries or back to school items for my kids...next week is another crazy week financially as well. Ive tried selling my stuff at garage sales, ebay, etc. I cant sum up the courage to ask my relative for help. BTW, my finances were destroyed by my divorce. This is why i find myself in this hellhole of a situation.

No loans please.

  1. Been there done that. I had to go bankrupt after my divorce. Ask someone for help if you have someone, or  consider moving in with relatives until you get back on your feet. Is the ex paying Alimony and child support. If not contact the DA's office for free legal help.

  2. Many of us have been where you are. Hang in there!

Contact your local DV shelter and ask them for resources for help with back to school and food. No, you don't have to be a victim of DV. They know of organizations that will happily help women and kids.

Secondly, don't feel bad about asking for help. It is okay, and when things get better, and they will, you can find a way to pay it forward.

    Good luck!!
