OK I don’t know much about these. I know you can get one to plug into your cigarette lighter on one end and on the other end is a house hold outlet.

So My Question Is: Can anybody help me find the right type/one to power ac: 120v, 60Hz, 60w Subwoofer?????

Please help me find what i am looking for, 10pts best answer. Links appreciated.

 1. I also say forget the house sub and just get stuff designed for the car. There are a few obstacles here with your idea. 1. You would need at least a 150 watt true sine wave inverter to run the sub as a modified sine one would probably cause audio noise. 2. In general car systems are designed to play loud enough to be heard over the road noise on the highway or gravel and home theater systems are designed for a quiet room. 3. Home electronics aren't built to withstand the jarring bumps, G-forces, and vibration from driving.

 2. Do yourself a favor, don't use home theater speakers in your car. They won't produce good sound quality. Even your cheapest amp/subwoofer would do better as long as they're meant for use in a car.
