I'm 17 and I want to save money to buy a car. I want something that is good on gas(20-25mpg range at least) and that is small b/c it will be just for me. But I don't want something really small like a bug or an escort. I need advice and ideas about something I could afford and that is a good reliable car. Thanks for answering in advance!!!

  1. a catillac dose not cost much, and it dose not use much gas.

  2. if you want a nice small car that's just gonna be for you i think you should go with either honda or toyota, they're the most reliable cars. the only car i would prefer from honda though is the fit. with toyota there are more options for small cars like the carolla, or any of the scion models. personally i think if you want a car just for youselft you should get either the scion xa or the scion xd. the scion tc is really nice but i think it's more expensive than the others and the xb is just ugly in my opinion, and doesn't get as good gas milage as the others

  3. Acura CL

    Ford Mustang V6

    Honda Accord or Civic

    Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder

    Subaru Impreza or Legacy

  4. Well, Your best bet would be a private seller, not a dealership.

I would look for anything with a 4 cylinder, Escorts, grand ams, achievas, skylarks, contours, neons. you know. I have had a few midsize GM cars with 4 cylinders and they all got at least 30 MPG they are pretty cheap right about now...

  5. get an early 90's accord or prelude!

  6. An escort isn't really all that small. You might try looking at a Huyundai or KIA both are good reliable cars.
