i have a question, when i bought my car i didn't realize that it had these white streaks(like in circular motion), the car is black so when the sun is directly hitting it you can see it and I want to get rid of them. what are they? can you remove them by waxing the car or by polishing it? how much does it usually cost?

oh and also, is there any way you can cover small scratches on the car, they're really tiny but i can see the white on the black paint, and i dont want to paint the whole car, cuz honestly it doesn't need it.

thanks!

  1. These are called swirl marks and yes they can be removed by polishing. This requires a buffer with a foam pad. 3M makes good light polishes for this.  The polishing should also take out the scratches if they aren't too deep.

  2. it needs to be buffed and polished. being that the car is black, you should have it done by a pro, either at a body shop or a reputable detail shop. you really need to know what you're doing to buff and polish a black car and make it look good.
