Car question what would be a great used car for under 10,000?

any car you can recommend would be good i need a gas saver car plus 4 doors also a coupe or sedan? please help

If you can get your hands on a Toyota Corolla or a Suburu anything - you pretty much can't kill them.

Make sure you compare the price of the vehicle with the actual gas savings - gas is coming back DOWN now, and you may find that one of the less desirable things might be a better choice in the end, because you will save on the urchase price as well as the maintenance bills - I'm still driving my old F-150, and will keep it until it becomes a planter - and i drive all day long!  You can buy one used for a couple thousand bucks, and they are very tough, cheap to fix, and last forever... just make sure you really look at the bottom line and reliability - a lot of those tiny little tin boxes will be in the recycling bin in a couple years!

  It will always hold true - make sure you get something they have been making for a while, nothing new and 'improved' or you will find out where they made a mistake in the improvements...

I have an 01 civic LX sedan and i love it. I'm getting about 32-35 mpg, and its been extremely reliable so far. I would definitely reccomend this car
