  1. try check car battery

  2. my sis had the same problem and she just ended up takin it to the shop they said that her antenna was the problem so they fixed it then it still had a few glitches so we got a new one and it worked great

  3. Just Buy the new one

  4. Hey There,

If you know for sure that there is no power going to the radio, then your first check would be your fuse panel. Check all of your fuses not just your "radio" fuse. A lot of times the radio is tied into other fuses as well, like the cig lighter fuse. If that still doesn't work, your radio may have just gone bad while sitting. May have gotten some moisture on the circuit board from just sitting in the car without any circulation of air or anything. The best thing to do would be to pull out the radio and check for power at the harness, you can get wiring schematics at http://www.the12volt.com  Good Luck!

  5. Is the battery good?  Does it start the car?  Did it die while the car sat?  If it did, the radio could have lost the preset stations.  If the radio does power up, but the presets don't work, try tuning to a station manually.  You may just have to reset the presets, is all.

Check the fuse - is it good?

Are there any signs of mice, chipmunks, etc in the car?  Nuts, chewed insulation, seeds, droppings would all be a sign.  They could have chewed the wires.
