alright, the car is fine but it had its engine replaced. its a 1995 honda accord. it is a radio/cassette player (old school i know) but now since we have gotten it back, it just says CODE when we try to play the radio. we heard that there is a "code" inside the car somewhere. we have no manual bc ahem, my boyfriend lost it. ^,~ so if anyone knows what this "CODE" is or where it would be, please let me know. thanks!

  1. If you can't find the code listed anywhere as you don't have an owner's manual then you will need to get the serial number off the radio. With this number and proof of ownership, any Honda dealer should be able to supply you with the code. You will have to remove the radio in order the get the code. If you know who the selling dealer is, I would check with them before doing anything. They may have the code on file somewhere. There may be a sticker inside the glove box, but I doubt it.

  2. i think the CODE is somewhere around or inside the glovebox

well n/m i just check my car and its not there so i think you could call the dealership give them a vin number and they will give it to you

  3. some people have a program that can get you the code. but for that information, you will have to pull the stereo out and get the serial number of it. also, include the brand of the stereo if its possible.

if no one here can help, try going to a local car audio shop. they might be able to get the code for you.

another way to get it is by going to the dealer and have them put in the code. but usually there will be a fee for this.

btw, save the code really good once you get it, i would advice you writing it on the stereo itself with a permanent marker incase the battery dies or needs to be disconnected later on.
