Car rental in Costa Rica?

If you rent a car in Costa Rica will you be able to drive it across the border into Panama? Are there mountains of paperwork to fill out?

  1. no idea hun ...  sorry I am rubbish ...  do u know  that petrol (gas) is $11 a gallon ????     1.29  a litre in England ...??   ha ha  we will all be walking to work soon . . . xx!!!   x*x


  2. no rented car can pass the borders... the insurance don't cover anything outside the costa rican borders. that's why they don't let cars pass the border
