Car rental with no reservation?

so i had a concert/meet and greet to attend tomorrow, but my dads car broke down. we need to no if we can rent a car at around 8 am tomorrow without a reservation? thnx and God Bless!

Check with the larger places. Avis, Budget, Alamo and the such.

Last year i was ready to go to a family reunion out of state, the check engine light came on in my car the day before i was leaving. I didnt want to chance it so i stopped at a AVIS, they gave me a car on the spot. I just left my car there and picked it up when i turned in the rental. Turned out not to be anything major wrong with my car but i just didnt want to risk things you know.

Anyways you will need to be like 21 or 25 at most places-different ones have different age limits. You have to show proof of insurance and have a credit card, even if you are paying in cash you must have a credit card.
