Car reviews/opinions on 2000 Chevy Prizm?

I am thinking about buying this vehicle from a guy who is moving away..I've looked at some review sites though I would like to get an opinion on it from a mechanic who has driven/worked on them..thanks!

Its decent compact car with pretty good mileage and not much power.  Its a rebadged Toyota Corolla but cheaper cause people think Toyotas are better.
