Car seat covers..?

any ideas what i can use for car seat covers? i thought about getting the universal ones from car accessory stores but those never seem to fit right.. what can i use on my own? beach towels, xlarge t-shirt?? anybody know?

  1. You can buy a set of hog rings and the appropriate pliers and any universals and be surprised at what kind of fit you get out of them. That is what OEM seat covers were like originally, you just have to be a little ingenious to make the fit you like to appear. Use the thing you describe and you have just what you have a worn out seat with a t-shirt or a towel thrown over it

    or you can take a shot at repairing it.


  2. A poletec blanket would be good, you could attach it with tape or close line pins, but it would get hot in the summer, the advantage to this is that they are water repelant for a couple of seconds so you could wipe any spills up with getting a wet spot on your cover.
