  1. Your brake rotors get hot spots in them and it cause's it to shake when you apply the brake's . What is happening is when the pads rubber against the hot spot on the rotor it cause's the pad to catch on the rotor instead of sliding on by.

  2. brake rotor warp

  3. if the steering wheel shakes then its in the front rotors or wheel bearings if you feel it in the pedal only its in the back rotors or drums

  4. take to a shop have them measure rotors to see if they can be turned if not replace them

  5. it could be that the brake rotor is warped that means when the brakes grip the rotor it will cause the car to shake.so you need to take your car to an automotive place to fix it.

p.s. the rotor is what the brake pads grab to stop the car

  6. Have a mechanic look at your brake rotors for trueness. Also, have the tie rod ends checked for excessive wear.

  7. it depends if the rotors just have rust on them cause sometimes u can just take a grinder to the rotors to clean the rust off and it will stop the shaking. or take them to a shop and get them turned like the other guy said but i had this same problem with a 81 dodge ram after it had been stored away all winter and built up the rust

  8. replace the pads and rotors forget getting turned every thing new is less than 100 $ normally

  9. warped rotors is usually the cause of that the can be turned down some but if their to thin most shops wont turn them, sometimes replacing them is the only option ,have the check and see if they can be turned, good luck.
