Car sound question?

I am not really into car sound setup's, more into IT. I bought my self a small Jensen Car Sound Pack. It includes a Head Unit 4 x 15W, 2 x 2-way 240 watt 6x9 's, 2x 2-way 4" mids rated 125 watt and an 4ch amp rated at 4 x 40 watt RMS.

I don't plan on putting in anything else except for this kit. I know that how to connect the Head Unit, a manual is a brilliant helper although with this unit it is nearly impossible to make a mistake, and I know how to connect my speakers. I am however concerned with the amp itself. Strangely enough I don't have any referrence material for it.

Can anyone advise me as to how to correctly connect this amp? Would I need 10 gauge power cable for it, seems a bit hectic in this case, or anything else that I am over looking? Thanks.

Honestly, the unless you are going really extreme one way or another, it isn't that big of a deal either way.  

You run the sound to the amp, and then the sound from the amp to the speakers.  Have fun.
