Car speaker question?

i want to by some new speakers not looking for anything to great but i was wondering what are some basics in speaker buying, like what should i look for? and instalation how do i do that????

ok, you asked alot of answers that can have alot of different answers.

I dont know what car you have, what kind of speakers are currently in there, what type of head unit you have, what price range youre looking for, do you want subs or not....

you left alot to the imagination in your question.

my advice is to go into a pep boys or a circuit city and ask for help in there. if you want a really good system then go to a custom car audio shop.
