Car speakers and head unit?

I want to upgrade my factory speakers and head unit on my car, i will get to the sub later but here is what i was looking at. for the head piece i wanted to get this

Is this a good choice? i want one that has usb so i can listen to my mp3 player and one thats sounds well with the speakers

are these good quality?

I do have a budget that is why im holding off getting the sub and amp now the car this would all go in is a 2002 4 door Ford Explorer.

Do you have any suggestions on whether i should get different speakers or head unit? Thanks for the help.

well the stereo is a very good stereo and the speakers are good depending on how you use them they'll sound alright if you have them alone but the bass will have to be kept down but that doesn't matter because later on when you get your sub and amp you can set the high pass filter on the stereo so that the subs handdle the lows and the pioneers handdle the highs
