Car spitting out black c**p

when i start my old volvo and give it the gas, black stuff comes out the exhaust, its not liquid and its not leaking water. the exhaust is rusty and old, is that it? i already had a tune up, oil change and oil filter change, my spark plugs are good. could it just be nasty build up?

yes, it sounds like you may need to replace your exhaust, or at least part of it. get it checked out!
