Car stereo ..should I change it ??

Question

Iv just baught my first car and not too keen on the in build stereo..

Would you recommend i change it ??

The only problem is that the controllers on the side of the steering wheel would no longer work if i get it changed..

I know this sounds silly but I also wanted a colour changing fascia for the stereo..are they any good ?

Yes , you can get your stereo changed . You can insert bass devices to enhance the sound system . The controllers on the side are of no significance. In my car too , they do not work , but still i experience world class quality sound.

Reccomendations :

You should use bose speakers.

i wouldn't bother just for the colour changing fascia.

If the sound is rubbish, thats a good reason to change it.

I have an inbuilt stereo in my car and i have controls on the steering wheel.

The stereo is not that good but the speakers are great. I will keep it because i don't want to lose the controls.

The choice is yours though.

First If you want to then I would. What kind of stereo is in there now? If it is a bose I would stick with it. Also it depends if you plan to put an amp and subs later down in the road I would go ahead and switch it. Also you can change sterring wheels later alot work to that though. You wanted a color changing what? I think you met face if so yea there are several kinds pioneer has a blue sound stream has one with a 3.5 inch screen that is color it looks like a razor phone very nice.
