6 months a go i installed a sony XPLod (can't remember model) in my 04 Corsa. Went amazingly well, even maneged to suss out how to do the steering wheel controls. Has been working amazing until last week. While mucking around with the kids i suddenly turned the sound up quite load..... unfortunately it just went dead.. no life at all

Now I am not a whizz at cars or audion but have checked all fuses, even one on stereo (i think) and have also tried old stereo back in car but still nothing.

Am i missing something obvious or is there a deeper seated probelm

Thanks

Dan

  1. check all your fuses in the back of your head set and your amp and possibly the big fuse goin to your batrie on the system.... and dont buy s**+ tty systems like sony.... get kicker!!!

  2. Well, I would guess from what you have already tried the culprit might  be in your steering wheel controls. See if you can bypass that circuit using jumper wires, that will at least solve/ eliminate that portion of the circuit.
